Eiledon's Random Mania

a.k.a. Taz

Taz is loved and owned by Gwen and Don Burge of Florida. They are new to dog shows, and after a rocky start from learning the details of caring for a show coat, they have enjoyed five straight Best of Winner's wins, with one of those being Taz's first major. Despite his name and the high energy that goes with it, Taz also is in the running for sweetest male briard in the whole wide world.

Raizel, Karen and Judge Dorothy Hutchinson During December, Raizel went up to the Western Reserve Kennel Club and was a "Dark Horse" Best of Winner's, Winner's Bitch from the Bred-by-Exhibitor Class. Fortunately Mrs. Hutchinson forgave her the lack of hair on her feet from her pass time of mud wrestling with her brother Raisen.

At the ripe age of EXACTLY six months, Raisen A. Rukus took the opportunity to "Run with the Big Dogs" with the help of Judge Carl Liepman by winning the Bred-By-Exhibitor Class at the Atlantic States Briard Club Supported Entry. The next day he again took his class at the Regional Specialty under Judge Patricia Hastings. (Photo Copyright 2001,Tom Di Giacomo) Raisen, Karen and Judge Carl Liepman
Only one month later, at the Briard Club of California Specialty, Raisen took the next step (or three). Karen as Breeder/Owner/Handler took him through his class to take Winner's Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex, and an Award of Merit. It was a busy day for a young dog. His sister Raizel A. Riot ran away with Best Puppy in Sweepstakes at the Canadian National Specialty in Quebec under Sweepstakes Judge June Shew but the photo is currently caught in International Mail Limbo!! Raisen was so jealous his sister beat him that he tried fairly successfully to eat her ribbon on the way home.
